Feast restaurant, located on the Gold Coast in Chicago was re-decorated in the Spring of 2011.
I was immediately drawn to the striking and ornate ceiling that dominates the main dining room. Built in the 1920s, the space was originally part of the building’s main lobby but had been closed years before during a renovation project. I used a dark anthracite grey wall color to contrast and accent the intricate ceiling details as well as to give the dining room a very formal and elegant feel.
